Our "Stock Analyzer" package is aimed at providing a powerful software tool for online stock traders to analyze stocks and make quick decisions on various investment strategies. With the evolution of the Internet technologies, more and more people are using the Internet to invest their money through online stock trading due to the low commission costs and the convenience of placing orders.  Buy/Sell stocks are now a few clicks away.  Moreover, the Internet carries enormous business information and allows online stock traders do their own research with little cost.  However, many people have lost their hard-earned money in the stock market: they either selected wrong stocks or elected to enter/exit their positions at wrong time. Right decision requires experience, knowledge, and thorough research. Well-designed computer software certainly can be useful in training inexperienced trader, and providing seasoned traders with advanced technologies in their evaluation of investment risks, strategies and stock picks.  

The stock analyzer pacakage consists of three sub-packages: stock price loader, equity analyzer, online trading game. The stock price loader allows traders to collect stock price history data from the Internet for further analysis.  The equity analyzer provides complex mathematical models and algorithms for traders to do detailed analysis of their stock picks and investment strategies based on current information collected from the Internet. In the past, research efforts on stock trading have been concentrated on fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and quantitative financial analysis. We incorporate most useful techniques in conventional stock research and embed our unique data mining solutions as well.  The online trading game is aimed to provide a workshop for inexperienced traders to gain necessary knowledges and skills before their invest their hard-earned money in the stock market.
